The 2024 WNBA Commissioner Cup is in full swing, intensifying the competition in both conferences. Notably, the New York Liberty and Connecticut Sun achieved decisive victories on Tuesday, signaling a fierce contest at the summit of the Eastern Conference standings. Meanwhile, attention shifts to the Western Conference on Wednesday, with matchups featuring the defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces, clashing against the Minnesota Lynx.

This year’s Cup introduces a revised format where each team plays five designated Commissioner Cup games between June 1 and 13. These games double as regular-season matchups. Each team competes against every other team in its conference once, with a split of three games at home and two away.

The top team from each conference, based on their performance in these Cup games, will advance to the championship game on June 25. The game will be held at the venue of the team with the superior record from the Cup games, and the winning team will share a $500,000 prize pool.
