During the 2024-25 NBA GM Survey, San Antonio Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama came out on top in many categories since he had just completed his second season. In a poll asking for the player that GMs would want to build a franchise around he got 77% of the vote defeating SGA and Nok Jokic. In addition, they elected Wembanyama as the best defender and the best interior defender which is some proof of his strong contributions both offensively and defensively.
Rising Star Stephon Castle Gets Recognition
Despite the commonality of his name to a renowned basketball player, Stephon Castle stands out in the NBA GM Survey as the Third Most Popular Rookie for the Rookie of the Year race which was only closely followed by Reed Sheppard and Zach Edey. Castle also finished second in the ‘Rookie of the Year’ polls as to who would be the best from this class in five years. His accreditation emphasizes Spur’s bright prospects as they were ranked fourth most promising young team roster in the NBA.
Chris Paul’s Veteran Leadership
A new player, Chris Paul joined the team as a veteran and saw him excel in several parameters. To confirm this, GMs placed him first as the player who would eventually mature into the best head coach, fourth for leadership, and third best in terms of basketball IQ. His return will be invaluable, especially with the young team that the Spurs are forming.

Some of the greatest stars that are seen today include Gregg Popovich who is currently one of the most honored personalities of the NBA and is ranking third when it comes to the question of who is the best manager and motivator of people.
