A back-to-back championship is far more difficult to achieve than just one championship. When asked how the Golden State Warriors would perform for a title defense during the next 2022–23 season, Steve Kerr is attempting to convey his thoughts.
Steve acknowledges that a few other elite teams have the potential to win the Larry O’Brien trophy, and that random events and unforeseen circumstances will continue to affect the viability of contenders.
Yet, he thinks his Dubs have a good chance of repeating as champions.
Stephen told Egypt sports outlet:
“Keeping the title at Golden state? It’s going to be very difficult. A lot of great teams in the NBA, and it always require some luck; injuries, one shot goes in or misses. We have a good opportunity but you never know.”
The Warriors reemerged their depths and have rejuvenated their dynastic state in the NBA Landscape by winning their fourth title in eight seasons after having some struggling time in previous seasons.
As a result, the journey back to the peak will undoubtedly be challenging. While West rivals like the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves have added aggressive gears that can elevate them to the new heights, fellow competitors have reworked quite well. The Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Clippers, however, are in good shape with their key players coming back and being fully available.
On the other hand, the Milwaukee Bucks, who are captained by superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, will always pose a serious threat. Following multiple additions of important role players, the Philadelphia 76ers are also a contender. Finally, their co-finalist, the Boston Celtics, are fiercely driven and determined to secure that 18th championship.

could you choose a Liverpool player who would be able to play basketball?
Yes! Virgil Van Dijk, he’s a great athlete, big, strong, 6.4 or 6.5, really strong. I think he could be a good basketball player@VirgilvDijk pic.twitter.com/sypJ4YwUMg

However, the Golden State Warriors are backed by superstar Stephen Curry. He has a track record of success and is aware of what it takes to prevail. They’ll probably be optimistic about their chances with Curry.
Going into the following season, they will benefit from continuity, chemistry, and championship experience. All of these are important for a competitive team to have.
