Steve Kerr, nine-time NBA Champion’s Comment Remains in the Spotlight After His Warriors Won the Final

Steve Kerr, the coach of the Golden State Warriors, understands what it means to win an NBA title. Kerr won his fourth title as a coach on Thursday, earning him nine championship rings after claiming five as a player. Victory celebrations don’t get old, if his statements from Friday are any indication.
Kerr said to media after his team conquered the NBA Finals title:
“I’m not going to lie, I’m hungover right now”.
He further added: “We had a great night last night. We had an incredible night… late night… but it was just special just to celebrate with the team, and the families… It was a beautiful night.”
Kerr stated that he partied hard after the Warriors won their fourth championship. During an interview after returning to California, Kerr admitted to reporters that he was “hungover right now.”
Steve Kerr has a long list of NBA victories under his belt.
For Kerr, who has earned nine NBA championships, none of this is new territory. As a player, Kerr won five championships, three with the Chicago Bulls and two with the San Antonio Spurs. Kerr got into broadcasting after leaving as a player and provided his service as a manager for 3 years to the Phoenix Suns.
For the 2014-15 NBA season, Kerr was appointed as the Warriors’ coach. In his first year on the position, he won a title. Even during 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, Kerr achieved back-to-back victories. Kerr’s fourth championship with the Warriors arrived after the team went two seasons without making the playoffs.
Kerr told reporters Friday that he has lost track of how many rings he has won since the Warriors’ most recent title.
The Warriors’ victory parade will take place on Monday, and the party is unlikely to end soon.
