New San Antonio Spurs rookie, Stephon Castle signed by the team with the number 4 pick of the NBA Draft of 2024, will not play in the remainder of the NBA Summer League because of a wrist injury that requires initial treatment and rehabilitation. Castle hurt his wrist during the game Spurs – Trail Blazers and later it was established that he had sprained his right wrist. However, after a brief examination of the player, it was realized that the Spurs could not afford to have their promising talent further hurt even if the knock seems to be a small one.
Bright Summer League Start
Castle, who played in only a Summer League for Connecticut, looked promising in his demonstration. he scored 12 points, followed by an impressive 18 points, six rebounds, and five assists against China. His performance improved to his best in a match against the Trail Blazers where he scored 22 points, had five rebounds, and four assists.
