A new fried chicken restaurant called Big Chicken, which is co-owned by NBA star Shaquille O’Neal, has recently started serving customers in Fort Worth. The eatery greeted patrons on Tuesday, giving the initial 34 individuals in queue complimentary meals for a year in honor of O’Neal’s legendary jersey number.

A Taste of Shaq’s Childhood Favorites

Situated across from Alliance Town Center on I-35W, Big Chicken puts a contemporary spin on O’Neal’s childhood classics. The menu features a mix of traditional comfort dishes and popular flavors, showcasing special items that mirror O’Neal’s dynamic personality. Furthermore, a popular meal choice is a chicken sandwich paired with mac and cheese and crispy fried onions, alongside a spicy Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Every item on the menu shares a narrative, allowing diners a peek into O’Neal’s childhood and gastronomic preferences.

Expanding Across Texas

The Fort Worth branch is included in Big Chicken’s growth throughout Texas. Cities such as Houston, San Antonio, and Austin can look forward. To experiencing the same tasty fried chicken and lively atmosphere. Shaquille O’Neal’s  impact goes beyond just the menu. With the restaurant striving to create a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home for all its visitors.

Shaq’s Community Involvement

Although he recently moved to North Texas, O’Neal has already made a significant impact on the community. Recently, he brought his bass music festival to Fort Worth and teamed up with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office to back a gun buyback initiative. Moreover, his commitment to making a positive impact in North Texas extends beyond the basketball court.

By opening Big Chicken, O’Neal is not only offering delicious food. But also establishing a cozy environment for the community to gather and have a good time.
