Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen has just perhaps overdone it or simply jumped the bogey as his latest business investment in the cryptocurrency market has triggered much reaction. Pippen posted a tweet that did not make much sense to most of his fans, some of whom issued him weird comments that could be interpreted as trolling.
Pippen’s Dream of Satoshi Nakamoto
In the tweet, Pippen narrated a dream he had in which he met the creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto. He said that Nakamoto favored his attempts to diversify the new lane in the cryptocurrency market – #RWA. The tweet which was more like a cartoon presented the personality of Pippen in a Chicago Bulls kit taking a picture alongside a hooded man with ‘NAKAMOTO’ inscribed on the hills.
“I had a dream that Satoshi Nakamoto met me last night. He did not look at me as being just an investor like any other that plays the #crypto market. Instead, Satoshi looked happy that I am opening a new ‘lane’ to #RWA,” Pippen said. “That is why I can bring the @Game5Ball to the blockchain and transfer history to the community, innovate sports, and introduce a real-world sports object into decentralization”

Social Media Reacts
Pippen who has a good number of followers on Twitter did not take long to incite his followers with the tweet as many felt the comparison was quite an exaggeration. Some people even made fun of Pippen and laughed at the stunts and grandiosity which were associated with surreal images. Although some of the users doubted the tweet assuming that the account of Pippen had been compromised somehow, the tweet is still active and thus shows that Pippen is serious.
Celebrity Crypto Craze
Pippen is in the list of celebrities who are hyping cryptocurrency as a way to describe it as the future of money, the play on words, and the reference to Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of bitcoin, and the cheeky jab at Michael Jordan’s’ “Be Like Mike” tagline, turned it into a peculiarly entertaining event to witness.
A Serious Move or Just a Gimmick?
Although it’s uncertain whether Pippen’s announcement signals a genuine undertaking or a promotional strategy, the responses underscore the divergent perspectives on the legitimacy and future of cryptocurrency. Some view it as a revolutionary advancement, while others harbor doubts, considering it a potential scam.
Nevertheless, Scottie Pippen courage into the cryptocurrency market has undeniably garnered widespread attention, generating anticipation among fans and followers for the next developments in this unforeseen phase of his post-NBA career.
