The Sacramento Kings have officially inked a deal with 10-year NBA veteran Jeremy Lamb, a seasoned NBA player with a decade of experience. Lamb’s most recent NBA action was during the 2021-22 season, where he played for both the Indiana Pacers and the Sacramento Kings.
During that season, he maintained an average of 7.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game, with shooting percentages of 38.3% from the field and 32.4% from beyond the arc across 56 regular season matchups.
This summer, Lamb entered free agency and has now formally joined the Kings, earning a spot on their training camp roster.
Lamb originally entered the NBA as the 12th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft after his college career at UConn. In addition to his stints with the Pacers and Kings, he has also played for the Charlotte Hornets and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

He has also made appearances in 14 NBA playoff games, showcasing his reliability as a scorer.

Lamb’s addition to the Kings, if he secures a spot on the roster, could provide a valuable scoring option.
Regarding the Kings, they are coming off an impressive season as the third seed in the Western Conference, finishing with a 48-34 record. This marked their first playoff appearance since the 2006 season. Unfortunately, they were eliminated by the Golden State Warriors in a seven-game series during the first round of the playoffs. As they enter the 2023-24 season, the Kings are poised to be one of the top teams in the Western Conference.
