College Sweethearts: The Westbrook Love Story
Russell Westbrook and his wife Nina Westbrook began dating while in college at UCLA; both played basketball for the university. Russell played for the UCLA Bruins between 2006 and 2008 before being drafted into the NBA. The couple started officially dating in 2007 and got married on August 29 of the year 2015. They have since put up a lovely family, with Noah being born in 2017, and a pair of daughters, Skye and Jordyn, born in 2018.
Nina Defends Russell Against Harsh Criticism
Nina Westbrook has also tried to demonstrate her preparedness to stand for her husband when it calls for it. Offseason, she defended Russell after former NFL safety Ryan Clark compared Russell with NFL star Lamar Jackson.
