Basketball legend Patrick Ewing is coming back to the New York Knicks as their new basketball ambassador. The Knicks drafted Ewing first overall in the 1985 NBA Draft, and he later became the team’s leading scorer, rebounder, shot blocker, steal leader, and games played record holder. Ewing guided the Knicks to the postseason for 13 straight years, solidifying his legacy as one of the top players in team history. In 2003, his jersey with the number 33 was taken out of circulation.
