Queta, standing at 7 feet tall and weighing 240 pounds, has participated in 20 NBA games across two seasons, primarily with the Sacramento Kings from 2021 to 2023. His career statistics include an average of 2.9 points and 2.1 rebounds in 7.5 minutes per game. During the previous season, Queta played in 29 games, all of which he started, with the Stockton Kings, the Kings’ G League affiliate. In these games, he posted impressive numbers, averaging 16.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and ranking fourth in the G League with 1.9 blocks per game. He also achieved a remarkable field goal percentage of .680. Queta’s stellar performance earned him a spot on the 2022-23 NBA G League All-Defensive Team and a second-place finish in the Kia MVP voting.

Neemias Queta’s journey to the NBA began when he was selected by the Sacramento Kings as the 39th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Prior to that, he played three seasons at Utah State University, where he demonstrated his skills in 86 games, 84 of which he started. During his collegiate career, Queta averaged 13.2 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. As a sophomore, he represented the U20 Portuguese National team in the 2019 European Championships.
