The Atlanta Dream announced Thursday that their home games against the Caitlin Clark-led Indiana Fever will be moved to State Farm Arena, the home of the Atlanta Hawks. The games, scheduled for June 21 and August 26, are expected to attract large crowds and potentially set franchise attendance records.
The Dream typically plays their home games at the Gateway Center in College Park, which has a seating capacity of 3,500. In contrast, State Farm Arena can accommodate more than 17,000 spectators for basketball games. The decision to relocate aims to meet the high demand for tickets and provide more fans the opportunity to attend.
Tickets for these games will go on sale on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Season ticket holders will have their Indiana Fever game tickets transferred to comparable seats in the lower level of State Farm Arena.
