Even though he didn’t achieve a sixth straight triple-double. Moreover, Jokic’s guidance ensured Denver’s 13th victory in 14 games against the Lakers. Jamal Murray scored 14 points, with Michael Porter Jr. providing 24 points and 11 rebounds.
Giannis and Lillard Power Bucks Past Hornets
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard guided the Bucks to a 125-119 win over the Charlotte Hornets in Milwaukee. Giannis scored 32 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and made 6 assists. Furtheremore, Lillard contributed 31 points, extending Milwaukee’s winning streak to four games.
Even with LaMelo Ball scoring a career-high 50 points, the Hornets still came up short. Brandon Miller contributed with 32 points for Charlotte, however, he was unable to surpass Milwaukee’s late-game composure.
Wembanyama Shines as Spurs Stun Warriors
Victor Wembanyama scored 25 points, grabbed 7 rebounds. Moreover, dished out 9 assists to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 104-94 victory over the Golden State Warriors after a comeback. San Antonio staged a major comeback by outscoring Golden State 33-13 in the final quarter.
In another location, Franz Wagner’s stellar performance with 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists helped Orlando maintain a perfect record at home. While Lauri Markkanen scored 34 points to break Utah’s losing streak in a victory against New York.
