NBA standout Donovan Mitchell from the Cleveland Cavaliers remains a top guard in the league, showcasing his talent. NBA 2K25 recently released its list of top 100 players, with Mitchell securing an impressive 92 rating, ranking him 14th on the list.
Joining Elite Company
Mitchell’s 92 rating is on par with NBA champions Jaylen Brown, Kyrie Irving, and Kawhi Leonard. This acknowledgement places him among a select group and showcases his reputation as one of the top players in the league. He is rated higher than guards Ja Morant and Tyrese Haliburton, who got 90 ratings.
A Stellar Season Despite Challenges
Mitchell experienced both highs and lows during the 2023-24 season. Despite being limited to just 55 games because of injuries. He was able to participate in his fifth consecutive All-Star game. Throughout his time playing basketball, Mitchell had an average of 26.6 points, 6.1 assists, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game. His shooting percentages were also notable, shooting 46.2% from the field, 36.8% from beyond the arc, and 86.5% from the charity stripe.

During this offseason, Mitchell secured his future with the Cavaliers by agreeing to a three-year, $150 million contract extension. This action put an end to trade speculations and secured his stay in Cleveland for the time being.
