Wooden Award in NCAA Women’s Basketball
Despite injuries affecting some players, including the season-ending ACL tear for Rori Harmon and the indefinite sideline for Sedona Prince, the competition remains fierce. The midseason list will be narrowed down to 20 players in early February, with a final ballot of 15 to be released later that month. As the Wooden Award journey progresses, voters will choose a 10-player All-American Team, leading up to the announcement of the Wooden Award winner later in the spring. Established in 1976, the award holds a storied history, featuring legends such as Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, and last year’s recipients, Caitlin Clark and Zach Edey.
