Looks like Paolo has been impressive in training!

After being selected as the Mavericks first overall draft in this year’s NBA Draft, Paolo Banchero made headlines last week. The 6′ 10″ 250-pound forward, will make his debut against the Orlando Magic next week. Fellow teammate Luka Doncic believes that he may make a big impact in the coming season.

The young gun has already got the backing of his star team mate Luka Doncic:

Doncic made these comments after Slovenia won over Italy 91-90 in the friendly game.

“I think he’s an amazing player,” Doncic said. “He has a great head coach, I know him very well, so I know he’s gonna get the opportunity to him to prove himself … I wish him all the luck.”

Of course, it’s impossible to predict how well Banchero will perform in the NBA, as he has never played professionally. We can only hope for the best and wait to see how the 2022–2023 season turns out.
