Kevin Durant has been addicted to playing NBA 2K since the early days of PlayStation. Durant, a devoted follower of the sport, has been featured on the front of NBA 2K13 and 2K15. Even though his NBA 2K25 rating has decreased to 94 overall, the lowest it has been since 2K17, KD continues to show his love for the game.

During a recent interview on the Boardroom podcast, Durant admitted that playing basketball games on PlayStation Sega has become a significant part of his life, as he enjoys all game modes.

Durant’s 2K25 Rating: Still a Force

Even with a slightly decreased rating, Durant continues to be a powerful virtual player in NBA 2K25. He has a 2-Way Scoring Phenom build that includes 21 badges, with 11 of them being at the Gold or Hall of Fame level. KD has a deadly 97 rating for mid-range shooting, along with a dangerous 92 rating for three-point shooting.

Despite his lower rating in NBA 2K24, Kevin Durant can still excel if his strengths are utilized effectively.

The King Still Reigns in Durant’s 2K Lineup

Surprisingly, even though Durant loves the game, he doesn’t consider himself his top player. During a notable 2014 interview on The Jimmy Fallon Show. KD confessed that his preferred player to play with in NBA 2K is LeBron James.

Despite being a popular player in 2K, Durant. Like other gamers, struggles to resist the temptation of playing as “The King.” This fun competition adds to the virtual world and shows Durant’s strong bond with basketball and the NBA.
