Experienced Assistant Coaches
Nate McMillan
McMillan has over two decades of coaching experience and has just come from being the head coach of the Atlanta Hawks from 2021-23. This aspect of the Suns’ management will help Miller to effectively coach Redick since Miller just moved from the players’ bench.
Scott Brooks
Brooks has worked in the NBA from 2008-2015 and most notably, he was coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder and has been recently with the Portland Trail Blazers. This will be a great asset to the Lakers since he has such a wide knowledge and experience in basketball.
Bob Beyer
Beyer began his coaching career in 1983 and became an NBA assistant coach for more than twenty years and eight different teams. The presence of a vet will be helpful in the progression of Redick to become the head coach.
Greg St. Jean
St. Jean has been with the Lakers as an assistant coach/player development coach in the 2020 NBA championship team, thus making him quite familiar with the players particularly; James and Anthony Davis.
Lindsey Harding
Coaching assistant Harding is a former WNBA professional basketball player and the first female coach of the Lakers; Redick is a former Duke basketball team companion. The newcomer received the G League Coach of the Year award last season proving her rather meteoric career as a coach.
Beau Levesque
Levesque joined the Clippers last season as the player development coordinator and his main function with the Magic will be to concentrate on player development something that has taken center stage under Redick.
