Kansas Basketball Announces Tip-Off Times for High-Profile Matchups Against Michigan State and Duke

Kansas basketball has announced the tip-off times for its much-anticipated games against Michigan State and Duke for the upcoming season.

The Jayhawks will face Michigan State on November 12 at 5:30 p.m. CT in Atlanta as part of the Champions Classic. They will then take on Duke on November 26 at 8 p.m. CT during the Vegas Showdown. Both games are expected to be key highlights of the non-conference schedule in college basketball.

Despite a season where Kansas fell short of its Big 12 Conference and national championship aspirations, the Jayhawks remain a strong contender for both titles this season. Head coach Bill Self returns a solid core of experienced players and has bolstered his roster with several high-profile recruits.

Returning for Kansas Basketball are graduate center Hunter Dickinson, graduate guard Dajuan Harris Jr., and senior forward KJ Adams Jr. Self has also added impactful transfers, including junior guard AJ Storr from Wisconsin, senior guard Zeke Mayo from South Dakota State, and junior guard Rylan Griffen from Alabama. Additional transfers such as senior guard David Coit from Northern Illinois and graduate guard Shakeel Moore from Mississippi State, along with freshmen guard Rakease Passmore and forward Flory Bidunga, will contribute to the team’s depth.

The Jayhawks’ preseason activities include “Late Night in the Phog” on October 18 at the newly renovated Allen Fieldhouse, followed by an exhibition game against Washburn at home on October 29. The regular season will officially start with a home game against Howard on November 4.
