In 2018, Embiid founded the Foundation Arthur Embiid & Angels, named after his younger brother Arthur, who tragically passed away in a car accident in 2014 at the age of 13. Through this foundation, Embiid has aimed to uplift his hometown and support young people who are growing up in similarly challenging circumstances.
