The initiative of Black Wall Street is a collaborative effort between Brown and Jrue Holiday, alongside Holiday’s JLH Social Impact Fund. The ambitious goal of Boston XChange is to generate $5 billion in generational wealth in Black communities across the city. According to a report from The Boston Globe, Boston XChange has also partnered with prestigious institutions such as MIT and Harvard Business School. The program will provide financial support to 10 entrepreneurs from the Boston community, offering $100,000 in funding over a three-year period in diverse fields including entertainment, fashion, and the arts. In addition to the funding, selected entrepreneurs will have access to workspaces and business services valued at over $150,000.

He stated, “It will be a hub for diverse creators and entrepreneurs. It will operate kind of at the intersection between business and culture. Despite the excitement surrounding the launch, Jrue Holiday has not yet commented on the Boston XChange initiative, as he is currently focused on competing for Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
