James Harden stood out for the Los Angeles Clippers in their recent victory against the Utah Jazz, proving that he still is one of the best players of NBA all time. Reflecting on his past, James Harden discussed how his early days with Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder influenced his career development.

Harden Credits Thunder for His Growth

James Harden remembered with affection how the culture of Thunder helped him succeed: “They established the plan.” Upon my arrival, they already had a plan outlining how to proceed. I simply followed along without any effort. He commended Durant, Russell Westbrook, and the entire Thunder organization for boosting his confidence in his initial three seasons in the league.

When James Harden relocated to Houston as a rising star, he brought with him the knowledge gained from his time in Oklahoma City Thunder. Upon being traded to Houston, I was confident that I would achieve success. He gave recognition to KD, gave recognition to Russ, and the entire Oklahoma City organization,” he stated, when thinking about his growth as a player.

Climbing the Three-Point Leaderboard

Harden is still making history, currently holding the second spot on the all-time NBA three-point leaderboard. Harden broke Ray Allen’s record of 2,973 three-pointers with a three-pointer in the first quarter against the Jazz. He is now in second place, behind only Stephen Curry, who still holds the top spot with 3,782.

Durant Praises Harden’s Achievement

Kevin Durant made sure to congratulate his ex-teammate without any delay. In a sincere statement, Durant congratulated JH on achieving a remarkable milestone. The way you play inspires many people worldwide. James Harden, moved by Durant’s words, replied with a thankful grin: “Did he actually say that?” Wow, that’s impressive.

Fans are hopeful for the Clippers to enhance their 7-7 start due to Harden’s exceptional leadership and unprecedented achievements.
