LA Clippers have reached a deal for a three-year contract extension worth $58.6 million with Ivica Zubac, as reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. This new agreement, in addition to his existing contract’s last year, amounts to a total of four years and $70 million in value.

Zubac’s Impressive Season

Zubac, a 27-year-old center from Croatia, is coming off his best season to date. He scored an average of 11.7 points. Also with an impressive shooting percentage of 64.9%, while also grabbing 9.2 rebounds and blocking 1.2 shots per game. After being drafted in the second round by the Lakers. Zubac has emerged as a vital player in the frontcourt for the Clippers. Mason Plumlee’s departure to Phoenix means that Zubac’s contribution is even more important for the team’s success.
