Wong demonstrated his scoring ability with the Salt Lake City Stars this season, averaging an outstanding 26.1 points per game. He performed exceptionally with shooting percentages of 47.2% from the field, 42.1% from beyond the arc, and 86.1% at the charity stripe. Wong’s remarkable performance occurred on Nov. 20, when he exploded for a personal best of 41 points versus the Rip City Remix.

Proven Track Record in the G League

Throughout 52 G League games, Wong has established himself as a dependable playmaker, with averages of 17.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. His outstanding efforts secured him a place in the 2024 G League Up Next game, further establishing his status as a rising star.

A College Star Turned Pro

Prior to joining the NBA, Wong enjoyed an outstanding four-year tenure at the University of Miami. He received three All-ACC honors and concluded his college career by being named ACC Player of the Year for the 2022-23 season.

A New Chapter with the Hornets

Wong, selected 55th overall by the Indiana Pacers in 2023, played his first NBA game with them in April 2024. Currently, he contributes his energetic scoring and playmaking skills to Charlotte, seeking to make an impact in the NBA.

The Hornets’ backing of Wong underscores their confidence in his abilities. Paving the way for an exhilarating new phase in his basketball career.
