At 38 years old, Young had been without a team as a free agent, but earlier this month, he agreed to a contract with the Macau Black Bears, as reported by Sportando.

The Macau Black Bears announced the signing, welcoming Nick Young to their team. Young is set to represent the Black Bears at the upcoming Asian Tournament.

During the 2017-18 season, Young played 80 regular season games for the Golden State Warriors, where he averaged 7.3 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. He also had a shooting percentage of 41.2% from the field and 37.7% from three-point range. Furthermore, he contributed to the Warriors’ victory in the 2018 NBA Championship, where they triumphed over LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in 20 playoff games.

Young’s journey in the NBA began in 2007 when he was the 16th pick in the NBA Draft after his college career at USC. He has played for various teams during his 12 seasons in the league, including the Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets, and, of course, the Golden State Warriors.

Throughout his NBA career, Young has maintained averages of 11.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game, with shooting percentages of 41.8% from the field and 37.6% from beyond the arc in 720 regular season games. He has also appeared in 35 NBA playoff games.

One of Young’s most notable seasons was with the Lakers in 2014 when he averaged 17.9 points per game while shooting 38.6% from three-point range.
