Isaiah Joe, a former second-round pick for the Philadelphia 76ers, stepped into the postseason spotlight with the Thunder as he earned his first start in the playoffs. After playing off the bench for the Thunder in their initial playoff games, Joe’s consistent contributions led to his promotion to the starting lineup.

Playoff Performance

At the beginning of the first round that was played against the New Orleans Pelicans, Joe definitely demonstrated his shooting abilities, shooting 20 managers throughout the match and had great shooting rates as well. Having allocated more minutes in later playoff games, Joe’s scoring score became 7 points per game. Therefore it looked like he started having a significant role in the game.

Starting Lineup Debut

Although Joeser’s shooting efficiency was lowered negatively, this transition of the starting five also presented him with ample time on the field. Although Joe had that challenge ahead, his outside shooting ability and importance for this team were still plain to see.

Philadelphia Roots

The 76ers’ second-round draft in 2020 was where they found Joe and brought him on board in their early career. In his limited minutes through the season, Joe displayed the ability to knock down shots impressively. Yet, it has been his play under Doc Rivers that had him wishing to exist the team rather than being a regular part of the Los Angeles Clippers.

New Beginnings in OKC

Not long after signing with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Joe had already proved himself to be a key figure on the team as well as bringing in an element of consistency within his scoring, along with an array of three-point shots. Shining as a main fighter in a playoffs is a definite proof that he keeps developing and is committed to 100% on the court, therefore, securing his position as a leading assaulter for the Thunder team.

Looking Ahead

As Isaiah Joe climbs the ladder of NBA ladder, his participation in the Thunder playoff engagement proves that he, indeed, is on the right path and has the endurance that is required to excel in the professional league. Since he has the trend of being an excellent outside shooter and playoff appearance, Joe can have the upper hand over his squad and in the long run. He can, therefore, help in the success of his team.
