Theis also underscored the defensive capabilities of the Pelicans. Despite ranking sixth in defensive efficiency for the last two seasons. He is confident that the team can enhance their performance. He stated that being in the top 10 is not satisfactory and aims for New Orleans to rank in the top five defensively. Theis emphasized the significance of being physical and strong on the boards.
