Julius Randle shined on Sunday night by making a crucial buzzer-beating three-pointer, leading the Minnesota Timberwolves to a thrilling 120-117 victory over the Phoenix Suns at Target Center. Impressive performance of Julius Randle 35 points, including heroic actions, confirmed his status as a reliable player in crucial situations.

Gobert Praises Randle

Rudy Gobert, the French center, lauded effort of Julius Randle after he recorded an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double and four blocks. “That’s incredible for him.” He puts in a lot of effort. “We have faith in him during those occasions,” Gobert stated. He has been doing it all his career. “Simply another tool for our use.”

Even with Gobert’s sixth double-double this season, the Timberwolves faced a tough challenge as Devin Booker scored an impressive 44 points. By securing this victory, Minnesota’s record in the 2024-25 NBA regular season now stands at 8-6.

Suns’ Challenges and Injuries

Phoenix’s Jusuf Nurkic, who is still healing from a left ankle sprain, had a subdued performance, scoring five points and grabbing seven rebounds. Despite Booker’s offensive outburst, the Suns came up short and dropped to a 9-5 record for the season.

French rookie Bilal Coulibaly made a strong impression for the Wizards by scoring 15 points before having to exit the game due to a knee injury. Jonas Valančiūnas, a Lithuanian player, came in as a substitute and recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Wolves Riding High

With Julius Randle taking charge and Gobert holding down the defense, the Timberwolves seem ready to gain momentum. According to Gobert, maintaining consistency is crucial, and Minnesota appears to be getting into their groove.
