Xavier Tillman Sr. was traded from the Memphis Grizzlies to the Boston Celtics on February 7, mid-season of the 2023-24 season. He demonstrated his abilities and drive by playing 20 games for Boston, starting in two of them. Throughout the season, he maintained an average of 5.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists while playing for 18.0 minutes per game.
