While basketballs are not provided, and shooting is prohibited, travelers are enjoying the opportunity to engage with the installation, with some even pretending to line up shots.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced the postponement of the initially scheduled NBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis in 2021. The decision to set up a basketball court replica aligns with Indiana’s rich basketball culture, making it a fitting.
