Los Angeles Lakers player Austin Reaves released the second version of his popular Rigorer sneaker during his tour in Asia for the company.
New Colorways for AR 2
Nick DePaula from Boardroom revealed pictures of two distinct color options for the AR 2. Reaves initially joined Rigorer in April 2022 as a brand ambassador. In 2023, he signed a new agreement that not just brought out his personalized shoe but also broadened the collaboration to involve owning a piece of the company. The only NBA player with a Rigorer signature sneaker is still 26 years old.
Impressive Season Stats
Reaves had a strong performance in the 2023-24 season, with stats of 15.9 points, 5.5 assists, and a 48.6 percent shooting rate. In the Lakers’ first-round playoff defeat to the Denver Nuggets, he also averaged 16.8 points per game. The 6’5″ guard plays an important role in L.A. supporting superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Lakers’ Commitment to Reaves
According to a report by Jovan Buha of The Athletic in June, the Lakers are dedicated to keeping Reaves and will only consider trading him for a confirmed All-Star player. This dedication showcases the team’s confidence in Reaves’ capabilities and his value to their lineup.
A Rising Star with Unique Opportunities
Reaves’ progression from a talented player to a vital member of the Lakers and a representative for his own shoe line is motivating. What distinguishes Austin Reaves is his talent for excelling in basketball and using his achievements to create distinctive business prospects about sneaker. As Austin Reaves progresses both on and off the court, supporters are excitedly anticipating the future of this up-and-coming sensation.
