Davis sustained the injury on Sunday night during a crucial defensive maneuver against Toronto’s Jakob Poeltl. Moreover, who unintentionally poked Anthony Davis in his left eye and caused his eye injury. Despite the apparent redness and discoloration, Davis dismissed any worries about long-term effects.

“I’ll carry on with my day and take care of my tasks,” Davis stated. “The next step is to obtain more sleep.” Undeterred by the eye injury, Anthony Davis is resolute in his decision to play without any protective goggles. When questioned about wearing them, he promptly replied, “No,” and mentioned that he would only do so if it turned into a medical requirement.
