Atlanta Hawks’ ‘Lift As We Fly’ Campaign
The campaign’s launch coincides with the recent unveiling of the Hawks’ 2023-24 Nike NBA Fly City Edition uniform and court. These designs draw inspiration from the vibrant city of Atlanta, renowned for its indomitable spirit and determination.
Starting on Saturday, November 11th, at precisely 4:04 p.m. daily, the Hawks will dedicate one minute and forty seconds to showcase local small businesses on their massive digital displays, strategically positioned at the corner of Marietta Street and Centennial Olympic Park Drive. These high-traffic locations attract millions of visitors each year in downtown Atlanta, providing an ideal platform for these businesses to gain exposure.
Moreover, these small businesses will receive an online presence through the Hawks’ small business directory, further extending their reach and impact.
Narcis Alikhani, Vice President of Marketing for the Hawks, expressed the team’s enthusiasm for this initiative, saying, “We are thrilled to begin spotlighting small businesses on our massive displays outside of our award-winning venue to provide them additional recognition and awareness. We all lift each other up and are interconnected, and we feel that this particular campaign and these new Fly City Edition uniforms celebrate the power of collaboration in achieving success.”
As a testament to their commitment to local enterprises, the Hawks have chosen Reuben’s Deli as the first business to grace their downtown displays. Reuben’s Deli, a beloved sandwich shop located in downtown Atlanta, has been crafting culinary masterpieces since 1996. Their made-to-order sandwiches, using freshly sliced meats and freshly baked bread, have earned them a loyal following.
Reuben’s Deli owner, Claudio Furgiuele, expressed their gratitude for being the inaugural business recognized in the ‘Lift As We Fly’ campaign. Furgiuele hopes that the added brand exposure will draw more Atlantans downtown to savor their famous sandwiches, which have been a delightful part of Atlanta’s culinary landscape for over 25 years.
The Hawks are not only making waves off the court but also on it. Fresh off a thrilling victory in Mexico City, they are all set to return home and face the Miami Heat tomorrow night. As Atlanta fans eagerly await the next game, the ‘Lift As We Fly’ campaign promises to uplift and celebrate the local small businesses that contribute to the vibrant heart of this remarkable city.
