As per reports from Basketball News, the Boston Celtics are still compensating Demetrius Jackson NBA Star Continues to Receive $93000 Annually. Jackson’s most recent NBA stint occurred in the 2018-19 season when he participated in six games with the Philadelphia 76ers.

During that season, he averaged 3.7 points per game while maintaining a 53.3% field goal shooting and a 33.3% three-point shooting.

Demetrius Jackson was initially drafted as the 45th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft from Notre Dame by the Boston Celtics.

He played five games in his rookie season with Boston.

Remarkably, Jackson has been receiving $92,857 annually from the Celtics since the 2017-18 season, a result of the Celtics extending his $650,000 contract over seven seasons (as reported by Basketball News and Spotrac).

Jackson enjoyed a successful three-year tenure with the Fighting Irish.

During his junior season, he maintained an average of 15.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 45.1% from the field and 33.1% from the three-point range over 35 games (Notre Dame advanced to the Elite 8).

Throughout his three-season NBA career, Jackson played for the Celtics, 76ers, and Rockets.

His career statistics show an average of 1.8 points per game while shooting 48.6% from the field and 28.6% from the three-point range in 26 regular-season matches.

Jackson also had stints in the G League, boasting career averages of 15.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 51.9% from the field and 31.7% from the three-point range in 70 regular-season games.
