Both seasoned players involving Chris Paul and D’Angelo Russell, the Los Angeles Lakers clinched a 119-101 win against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.
Heated Exchange Between Paul and Russell
At the conclusion of the second quarter, tempers flared as Chris Paul resorted to throwing an elbow to make room, prompting D’Angelo Russell to react physically. Russell responded by hip-checking Paul near halfcourt, leading to teammates and referees having to separate them. Paul was witnessed insulting Russell by calling him “a bitch,” but Russell ultimately had the final victory on the court.
Even though there was a short argument, Russell performed better than Paul throughout the game. Russell contributed significantly to the Lakers’ victory by scoring 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting and providing five assists. In the meantime, Paul had a difficult time. Moreover, ending with only five points while making just one of six shots and dishing out six assists.
