The Boston Celtics displayed their championship-level skills in a dominant 126-94 victory against the Los Angeles Clippers. In a momentous second quarter, the Celtics made a franchise record by hitting 12 out of 17 three-pointers. Boston’s outstanding offense made it difficult for the Clippers to match them, as the Celtics matched the NBA record for most three-pointers in a game with 29.

Harden Praises Boston’s Offensive Power

James Harden did not hesitate to recognize the Celtics’ offensive abilities. “They have players who can shoot,” he commented after the game. “The defending champions are clearly the frontrunners.” They are an excellent team, and they attacked us aggressively. Harden observed that the Clippers, who were playing back-to-back games, did not have enough time to get ready for Boston’s talented and multifaceted lineup. He noted that the Celtics are among the top offenses in the league, if not the very best.

Second-Quarter Blitz Seals the Game

The Clippers had a strong start but struggled in the second quarter when Boston began scoring heavily. At the halfway point, the Celtics had established a commanding 29-point lead that made it impossible for the opposing team to catch up. Harden emphasized the team’s struggle to prevent Boston from scoring during their offensive outburst.

Harden Stays Optimistic About Clippers’ Future

Even after the difficult defeat, Harden still believes in the Clippers’ ability to succeed. “He stated that tonight’s game was chaotic, but he believes we are in a positive place overall.” Harden stressed the significance of maintaining a positive attitude and setting a good example. “We have many men on the same wavelength, which I believe is contributing to our success,” he remarked.

The Clippers will focus on coming together and recovering as they move forward in the season, learning from a game where offense of Celtics was outstanding.
