According to reports, the Sacramento Kings are in the final stages of making an agreement with Jae Crowder, who has been in the NBA for 13 years. As reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Kings are planning to have Crowder prepared to play in Wednesday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Crowder’s Impressive Resume

A solid career has been established by Crowder, who was selected in the second round of the 2012 draft, averaging 9.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He stood out while playing for the Boston Celtics from 2015 to 2017. Putting up averages of 14 points and five rebounds per game. Crowder was important in the Miami Heat reaching the 2020 NBA Finals and the Phoenix Suns’ Finals run in 2021.

Recent Form with the Bucks

In the previous season, Crowder played for the Milwaukee Bucks, averaging 6.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 23.1 minutes per game. He divided his time between beginning and being a substitute, demonstrating flexibility and reliability in his position.

A Boost for Struggling Kings

With a record of 8-10 and facing injuries, the Kings have lost four consecutive games. Even with the addition of DeMar DeRozan to their lineup with De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. The team still hasn’t quite found its groove. Crowder’s defensive toughness, postseason knowledge, and ability to lead could be key in steadying their roster and sparking a comeback.

Aiming for Better Days

While Crowder may not be able to single-handedly turn Sacramento into a championship contender. His arrival could boost the energy and confidence of a talented yet struggling team. By adding Crowder, the Kings aim to revive their hopes for the playoffs and return to form.

Sacramento supporters will eagerly observe to see if Jae Crowder can assist the Kings in regaining their winning streak.
