Victor Wembanyama demonstrated his excellence in the San Antonio Spurs’ 120-115 defeat against the Los Angeles Lakers on NBA Cup night. The young star, aged 20, put up an impressive performance with 28 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. He made 12 out of 25 field goal attempts, with 4 out of 13 from beyond the arc, demonstrating his skills on offense and defense.

During the game, there was a worrisome moment as Wembanyama collided knees with Anthony Davis, causing him to quickly head to the locker room. Nonetheless, the up-and-coming talent swiftly got back to work. According to ESPN’s Michael Wright, Wembanyama seemed to have a slight hobble following the game.
