The final four spots in the 2024 Olympic basketball tournament have been claimed by Brazil, Greece, Spain, and Puerto Rico. Over the past week, 24 teams competed across four tournaments held in Latvia, Greece, Spain, and Puerto Rico, vying for a place in Paris. The final day of the games saw these teams emerge victorious, securing their positions in the upcoming Olympic Games.

In Latvia, Brazil dominated the host nation with a decisive 94-69 victory in the finals. The Brazilian team, featuring notable players like Gui Santos, Bruno Caboclo, and Marcelo Huertas, showcased their strength and cohesion throughout the tournament.

Greece, led by NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo, earned their Olympic berth for the first time in 16 years by defeating Croatia 80-69. Antetokounmpo, alongside his talented teammates, is set to make his Olympic debut, adding a significant highlight to the Greek basketball program.

Spain, hosting one of the qualifying tournaments in Valencia, overcame a strong Bahamas team in the finals. Spain’s roster, including Santi Aldama, Usman Garuba, and the Hernangomez brothers, displayed their depth and experience, defeating the Bahamas 86-78 after previously overcoming Finland in the semifinals.

Puerto Rico capitalized on their home-court advantage in San Juan, defeating Lithuania 79-68 in the final game. The Puerto Rican team, featuring players like Jose Alvarado and Tremont Waters, showcased resilience and skill, winning crucial matches against tough opponents.
