Steph Curry Injury Update

Curry in pain

The Golden State Warrior lost Game 3 of the NBA Finals, but it could have been a lot worse for them. Their most important player Steph Curry sustained an injury during the fourth quarter of Game 3 with only minutes left in the game. The injury occurred when Steph Curry made a dive to grab the loose ball, so Al Horford. Horford landed on Curry’s left leg which left Curry in pain. Curry was removed from the game with two minutes to go.

The postgame conference saw Steve Kerr updating on Curry’s injury status.

“I took [Curry] out with two minutes left because we were down by 14 points,” Kerr said. “The injury didn’t force him out of the game.

“We’ll know more tomorrow,” Kerr concluded when asked about Curry’s level of injury.

The fact that Curry’s ouster was a tactical decision is encouraging for the fans as well as the team. Curry’s form in Game 3 was spectacular so his fitness and availability in the next game is a must for the Warriors. His absence can cause massive problems for the Warriors in the NBA Finals.
