The 2024 WNBA All-Star rosters have been officially unveiled, featuring an exciting first-time pairing of former college rivals Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese. These two stars will join forces on Team WNBA to take on Team USA, showcasing their talents together for the first time.

Clark, the Division I all-time leading scorer from Iowa, has made a significant impact in her rookie WNBA season with the Indiana Fever. Garnering the highest number of fan votes at 700,735, she continues to impress with her offensive prowess and long-range shooting. Close behind her in votes is her teammate Aliyah Boston, last year’s Rookie of the Year, with 618,680 votes.

Reese, a standout rebounder from LSU now playing for the Chicago Sky, secured her place in the top five with 381,518 votes. Known for her dominant presence on the boards, Reese leads the league in rebounds per game and holds a WNBA-record streak of 11 consecutive double-doubles. She and Clark, who were rivals in the 2023 NCAA championship, have faced off three times this WNBA season, with the Fever leading the series 2-1.

Reflecting on their upcoming collaboration, Clark praised Reese’s “tremendous season” and expressed enthusiasm about playing together.

The rosters were announced following a Sky victory over the Atlanta Dream, where Reese shared her emotional reaction during the postgame press conference:

“I’m just so happy. I know the work I put in. Coming into the league, so many people doubted me and didn’t think my game would translate and I wouldn’t be the player that I was in college. … I can’t thank my teammates and my coaches enough for believing in me and trusting me.”

Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson and New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart were also among the top five in fan voting. However, due to the Olympic year format, they will be playing for Team USA against Clark and Reese’s Team WNBA.

The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game is set to take place on July 20 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix. The fan vote leaders and full rosters are listed below.
