In a recent interview with Matt Aguilar of ComicBook Nation, Belair expressed her admiration for the growing spotlight on women’s sports, particularly in the WNBA. “I love what’s happening with the WNBA,” Belair stated. “Women are getting more spotlight and more attention. The WNBA is doing that. WWE, we’ve done a lot of unprecedented things where it comes to women. It would be really cool for the two worlds to combine and have an even bigger impact for women.”

Belair extended a direct invitation to Clark, encouraging her to join the 30-woman Royal Rumble. “Caitlin Clark, if you’re watching, come on and join. Come in the Royal Rumble. You can be one of the 30 participants. That’s what’s exciting about the Royal Rumble. You never know what’s going to happen. It could be the past, present, future, or just someone you don’t expect. You might see Caitlin Clark in the 2025 Royal Rumble in Indianapolis.”

This announcement follows WWE’s recent partnership with Indiana Sports Corp, which includes hosting major events like the Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and WrestleMania at Lucas Oil Stadium. The 2025 Royal Rumble will mark Indianapolis’s debut in hosting this premier WWE event.

With the WNBA season concluding in September, Clark’s schedule is expected to be open, allowing her the possibility to not only attend but potentially participate in the Royal Rumble. This crossover event continues to build on the trend of athletes from various sports making appearances in WWE events, such as Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton, who attended Monday Night Raw in Indianapolis earlier this week.

The invitation to Clark is more than just a personal call-out; it symbolizes the growing interconnectivity between different sports and entertainment platforms, promising an exciting spectacle for fans of both the WNBA and WWE.
