Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson Have Talked to Kevin Durant about his inclusion in the Warriors.
Since the start of the NBA’s free agency era four days ago, the most exciting subject in the league has been Kevin Durant’s upcoming exit from the Brooklyn Nets.
The fact that Durant has stated it plain that Phoenix or Miami is where he wants to go. He hasn’t stopped many clubs from making inquiries about signing the two-time winner, if not the majority of them.
The team’s primary players, notably Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green did not rule out the possibility of reconciling with their former teammate, as per Golden State Warriors writer Marcus Thompson II of The Athletic. This offseason, they have kept in touch, and it appears that Durant’s former players are ready to accept him.
Despite Durant’s departure in 2019, the Warriors have done a fantastic job of restoring and building a possible powerhouse in the making. The team would have to part with Andrew Wiggins as well as its young core, which consists of Jordan Poole, James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga, and Moses Moody, if they opt to trade for KD once more.
The Warriors have just clinched a playoff run, proving that they are strong contenders in the absence of Durant.
Durant’s inclusion will make the Warriors unbeatable for the next few years. Kevin Durant’s return to the Warriors will be an amazing sight to watch. Everyone is shocked to see Durant return to the Warriors. after the new club failed as everything that transpired when he left Golden State to guide his own team to a championship.
Curry, who this year won his maiden MVP award for the Finals, also doesn’t seem to be letting down this time. Of course, one could counter that perhaps Thompson and Green are ahead of their time. The Warriors have found a plan to include Durant into the squad.
The Warriors are planning ahead because they want to keep their core players together. As a result, the team is unwilling to go over that bridge for Durant anymore.
