The star player for the Bucks posted pictures of his vacation on Instagram, wearing a floral shirt and swim trunks. Even though he tried to stay out of the spotlight, Giannis was still noticed by his loyal fans. As per the Greek City Times, he kindly agreed to take photos and sign autographs, even while walking through the island’s narrow streets in the early morning. Significantly, Mariah Riddlesprigger, his fiancée who became engaged to Giannis in April, successfully avoided attention during the journey.
Doc Rivers’ Concerns
Despite Giannis grabbing attention with his summer holiday, Doc Rivers, his coach, has raised worries about his summer pursuits. During a discussion with Bill Simmons, Rivers pointed out that Giannis’s rigorous training and conditioning regimen might actually be detrimental. Rivers said another reason you admire him is because no one will work harder than him. “His level of fitness is impressively high, particularly during the summer months.” Rivers even playfully mentioned that he hoped Greece’s team would exit the tournament early to avoid Giannis from pushing himself too hard.
Due to injuries, Giannis did not make it to the playoffs for the last two years, leading Rivers to stress the significance of having a well-rounded off-season.
