NBA Trade Rumors: A recent report suggests that Utah Jazz is asking a mammoth price to trade Rudy Gobert. It is no surprise that the trade is going to be extremely costly as Gobert is in the midst of his career and playing at the top of his form and is a star-caliber player, a young prospect, and a draft pick.
Gobert,29, is coming off a season, averaging 16 points, 15 rebounds, and two blocks per game. On top of that, a career-high shooting percentage of 71 from the field. He engineered the league’s 10th best defender. While finishing as the finalist for the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year Award. That he won three-time in the last five seasons. Gobert might be limited at the defensive end. But if he gets to engage with a perfect system of playmakers, he can come outs as a game-changer. Then there will be no one that can stop him from being at the top.
The current Utah Jazz core has decided to go for a change sooner rather than later. But it will not be wise to trade Gobert just for trading. Gobert has a caliber of All-NBA level player. Now the question is will any team agree to trade Gobert with a colossal price tag?
