During the game, Jordan Clarkson contributed seven points, two rebounds, and two assists while playing for 22 minutes. However, on Sunday, the NBA disclosed that he was fined $2000 for flopping during the match.
The NBA official statement reads, “UTA’s Jordan Clarkson was assessed a postgame Flopping fine of $2,000 upon league office review for his actions on Oct. 28 vs. PHX.”

The Jazz’s record is 1-2 in their initial three games, and their next matchup is against the Denver Nuggets in Colorado on Monday night.
Clarkson is currently in his tenth season in the league and fourth with the Utah Jazz. In the previous season, he was awarded the 2021 6th Man of The Year, averaging 20.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game with a field goal percentage of 44.4% in 61 games.
Despite starting the season strong, the Jazz ended up as the 12th seed in the Western Conference and missed the NBA playoffs.
