This special NBA capsule line showcases a range of clothing items, including T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, shorts, and headwear, NBA and BTS’ SUGA signature Agust D label.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Mitchell & Ness have jointly introduced an exciting new NBA capsule collection, a collaborative effort with SUGA, who serves as both an NBA Ambassador and a star member of the BTS group.

SUGA, the accomplished South Korean rapper, songwriter, and producer, has lent his creative expertise to the clothing line. The collection highlights a variety of merchandise, including t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, shorts, and headwear, each bearing the insignia of six NBA teams: the Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, LA Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, and New York Knicks. The selection of these teams was based on the U.S. cities where SUGA performed during his recent solo world tour, SUGA | Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’. The unique SUGA x NBA capsule collection, a product of the collaboration between SUGA and Mitchell & Ness, prominently features SUGA’s Agust D emblem, symbolizing his association with the NBA. Additionally, the collection incorporates design elements inspired by his album “D-DAY.”

Enthusiasts of this collaboration of NBA and BTS’ SUGA can anticipate the collection’s availability in the forthcoming weeks. It will be accessible through designated NBA Stores, Mitchell & Ness stores, and the Weverse Shop, both in physical locations and online. Those eager to explore the collection and make a purchase can register their interest using their NBA ID by visiting www.nba.com/SUGAxNBA today. By doing so, they can access early purchase details and information.

Expressing his excitement, SUGA stated, “As a longtime fan of the NBA and its teams, this collection is incredibly special to me.  I look forward to sharing this with all of you.”

NBA and BTS’ SUGA connection is not new. In September of the previous year, he attended The NBA Japan Games 2022, which featured preseason games involving the Warriors and the Washington Wizards. His courtside presence was accompanied by behind-the-scenes content on social media, showcasing interactions with players and legends. SUGA also attended an official season game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Lakers on January 12, as well as Game 1 of the 2023 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Miami Heat and the Knicks on April 30. His most recent involvement included appearing in the 2023 NBA Finals campaign, titled “We Are All in the Finals.”
