During his time with the Atlanta Hawks, Krejci averaged 1.2 points per game, with a field goal percentage of 40.5% and a three-point shooting rate of 23.8%.

Additionally, Krejci had a stint in the G League with the College Park Skyhawks, where he showcased his skills. He averaged 9.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. His shooting percentages in the G League were 40.0% from the field and 33.3% from beyond the arc across three regular-season games.

This summer, he secured a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves as a free agent. However, recent reports from Keith Smith of Spotrac indicate that Krejci has been waived by the Timberwolves.

According to Smith: “The Minnesota Timberwolves have waived Vit Krejci, a league source tells @spotrac.”

Krejci was initially drafted as the 37th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and has spent two seasons in the NBA, playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Atlanta Hawks. His career statistics over 59 games show averages of 3.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He has a field goal percentage of 40.7% and a three-point shooting rate of 31.1%.

Due to the timing of this transaction, Krejci may potentially begin the season with the Iowa Wolves, the G League affiliate of the Timberwolves.

As for the Timberwolves, they enter the season following an eighth-seed finish in the Western Conference last year, posting a 42-40 record. Unfortunately, they were eliminated in the first round of the NBA playoffs by the Denver Nuggets in five games.

Their upcoming regular-season opener is scheduled for October 25 when they face the Toronto Raptors in Canada.
