Henri Drell, an Estonian basketball player who became the second Estonian to play in the NBA, will continue his basketball journey in the G-League for the next season. After appearing in four matches with the Chicago Bulls last season, averaging 2.8 points, one rebound, and one assist per game, Drell joined the Portland Trail Blazers this summer. Initially, his contract permitted him to take part in Portland’s off-season training camp, but those arrangements have now been altered.
Trail Blazers Modify Drell’s Contract
Portland opted to cancel a provision in Drell’s agreement that would have permitted him to participate in the team’s training camp. Consequently, Henri Drell will now be a part of the Rip City Remix, the Trail Blazers’ G-League team. Even though this wasn’t the result he expected, Drell continues to concentrate on enhancing his skills and demonstrating his worth.
A Promising Talent in the G-League
Drell has already demonstrated his potential in the NBA, and joining the G-League allows him to gain more experience and enhance his skills. The G-League season starts in November. Providing Drell with an opportunity to display his skills and potentially secure another chance in the NBA.

With the 2024-2025 NBA season nearing. Drell will be putting in the effort in the G-League to maintain his hopes of playing in the NBA.
