Former LA Champion and Free Agent Expresses Frustration
Only as a WARRIOR can one withstand the path of knowledge. A WARRIOR cannot complain or regret anything. His life is an endless challenge. And challenges cannot possibly be good or bad. Challenges are simply challenges. ? ?? go be GR8

Howard’s NBA journey began when he was selected as the No. 1 overall pick straight out of high school by the Orlando Magic. He enjoyed a successful 18-year career in the league, establishing himself as one of the premier defenders. With eight All-Star selections, All-NBA honors, three Defensive Player of the Year awards, and an MVP runner-up, the 6’10” big man left a significant mark on the game. He had three notable seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, although they occurred at different stages of his career.
His initial stint with the Lakers came in the 2012-13 season when he was acquired as a maximum-salaried All-Star, joining forces with legends like Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, and Steve Nash. However, he left the Lakers in free agency the following summer.
In his second non-consecutive tenure with the Lakers, Howard played a crucial role in the team’s surprising run through the Western Conference in 2020, although he played a smaller part in the Finals against the Miami Heat.
Howard’s most recent NBA experience was as a reserve center for the Lakers. While his athleticism had declined compared to the 2019-20 season, he remained a valuable player. After failing to secure a new contract in free agency last summer, he played in Taiwan, where he posted impressive statistics while playing for the Taoyuan Leopards in the 2022-23 season.
